Package Overview:
The grandeur of Grecian architecture takes life as you step into this wonderful world. At Athens, history is at your doorstep. As you enter, the Greek house of Parliament, and see the Unknown Soldier which is the place for the ceremonial change of guard, you know, you are in a country where tradition and modernity exists side by side at the same time. But it gets grander as you reach the Acropolis, which is the finest piece of architecture of ancient Greece. The acropolis looks majestic as you climb the stairs leading to the sacred rock. Inside the acropolis lies the Parthenon, this is the most breath taking structures made by the Greeks. Athens also has some fine 11th century orthodox churches at the Syntagma Square, which is at the heart of the city.
Itinerary:
Day
1
Upon arrival clients will be met and greet by Horizon representative inside the customs control.
Clients will be transferred by private taxi to their hotel in Athens. Overnight.
Day
2: Half Day Athens City Tour & The Acropolis (08:30-13:00)
Guests will depart the hotel by deluxe, air-conditioned vehicle and will be driven down town starting tour with an orientation to the modern city of Athens. They will view a number of the areas and buildings that give interest to this city. Among the most memorable is the Greek House of Parliament, a neoclassical structure overlooking the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier where the traditional Changing of the Guard takes
place. Also viewed on the tour is Syntagma Square, the Academy, the University, the National Library and Iliou Melathron, the former home of the celebrated archaeologist Heinrich Schliemann and one of the most beautiful buildings in Athens.
Following the orientation tour, participants will drive to the base of the Acropolis, where a series of steps invite them to ascend to the top of this sacred rock. Upon reaching the top they will pass through the Propylaea, the stately entrance to the magnificent structures inside, and will be greeted by a spectacular view of the city and the entire basin of Attica. Once inside, they will immediately see the Parthenon, by far the best known and most awe-inspiring of the structures on the Acropolis.
Just north of the Parthenon is the Erechtheion, another well-recognized structure with its graceful porch of Caryatids.
At the end of the tour clients will be driven back to their hotel.

3: A Day Of Leisure To Discover The Modern City Of Athens
There are plenty of shops near by the hotels that are offering a wide variety of clothing, jewelry, shoes in very convenient prices.
A walk in Plaka the old city of Athens is a must and there you could stroll around the narrow paths and enjoy a coffee or a meal in a traditional tavern or café. Overnight at the hotel in Athens.

4: Athens - Myconos.
Clients will be transferred by private taxi to the port of Athens, Piraeus And the adventure begins.Clients will embark the cruise ship for the 4 day cruise and disembark in Mykonos.( Only if Friday) coming Monday they will embark again on Mykonos and continue their cruise. In the afternoon after dinner, the clients will be transferred to their hotel Overnight in Mykonos

5: At leisure on Myconos.
The clients can discover the shopping possibilities of Mykonos one of the most cosmopolitan island of the word. One should taste the Myconian food specialties and the sweets of almonds.
They can already try to discover one from dozens of beautiful beaches either by renting a car of using the island’s frequent transportation network by public busses. Also one can visit the beaches by using one of the boat taxis departing from Platy Gialos.
Clubbing and dancing is in everyday’s schedule on Mykonos in the famous Paradise beach. Overnight at the hotel in Mykonos.

6: Transfer to the port to catch the ferry boat to Santorini Island.
Santorini has about ten thousand inhabitants during the winter time and about forty in the summer. Santorini is a crescent shape surrounding the black volcanic islands lying in the bay. What was once the island of Thira sank to the bottom of the caldera in the apocalyptic explosion in 1450 BC.
The lagoon-like caldera measures 32 square miles and is 300 to 400 meters deep. In the center are Palea Kameni and Nea Kameni.Upon arrival transfer to their hotel in town. Overnight in Santorini.

This day clients will participate in one of the most
exiting excursions of the island. VOLCANO – HOT
SPRINGS – THIRASSIA – SUNSET IN OIA
The bus picks up clients from the designated pick up points and drives them to Athinios port in order to take the traditional boat. The first stop is to the islet of Nea Kameni where clients have the opportunity to climb to the crater (1 ½ hour). Next the boat stops to Palaia Kameni for a short swim to the Hot Springs, which are considered to have healing powers (30 minutes). Afterwards clients head to Thirassia island, where they have 2 hours free to explore the island, swim or have lunch. Finally, the boat leaves clients to the traditional port of Oia, from where they visit the village and watch the famous sunset. After the sunset, buses are waiting for clients to drive them back to their hotels. Overnight at the hotel.

Transfer of the clients to the airport of Santorini to get the plane to Athens.
